Palworld is the talk of the town these days and it just achieved an impressive milestone by passing two million concurrent players on Steam according to SteamDB. The game definitely has a huge fan base in both North America and Asia and it might pass the record holder PUBG on Steam.
On January 24th the game achieved the milestone of 2 million concurrent players on Steam. Ever since its release, the game has seen a rise in popularity with players from regions including Asia and even North America.
Not to mention the fact that Palworld was released for the game pass on Xbox as well so it will be safe to say that the overall player count is much higher than expected. However, owing to the fact that Palworld left behind the likes of Dota 2, Cyberpunk 2077, Elden Ring, and even CS: GO the day it takes the crown of the highest number of concurrent players on Steam from PUBG is not that far.
Palworld have become the second game in history to reach 2 million concurrent Steam players.

The so-called Pokémon ripoff is doing extremely well in sales as well with over 7 million copies sold in just a matter of five days. However, some Pokémon fans are quite angry as the game seems to be doing better in numbers as compared to the triple-A Pokémon titles.
Many are going as far as asking for Nintendo to sue the game. Whatever the future holds for Palworld is still unknown but it can be said without a doubt that it definitely exceeded expectations and might be one of the nominees for this year’s The Game Awards.
